New venture for independent star

Russ is a multiple award-winning rapper operating independently. Russ is known for his incredible grit and drive, constantly dropping new work and reinventing himself. This process has seen to large amounts of awards, shows, and an expanding fan base. Wanting to connect with more fans than possible at the end of shows, the idea of doing these meets on video came to be.

Expanding fan reach for all artists

The initial version of the service Truss was made to help Russ reach more of his fans. Going forward this service will gradually open to invited artists, so they can get more facetime with fans as well. We designed and developed the Truss service with a native iOS app for artists, a web dashboard for management, and a responsive personalised booking page for each artist.

The typical entry point for fans will be a bio link from an artist, so we decided to start off with a responsive web flow for fans to book a call, minimising the time and friction. The booking is easily done in 3 short steps, and both fans and artist get reminders to make sure they both attend the call.
